I check my book

And fight the pack

Where am I now?

How can it be

Once you were here

Right next to me

I'm on my own

I don't need you

I am not paper

You aren't my glue

I'll fight, I'll lose,

I'll hurt, I'll win,

I'll turn around

And do it again

Someday you'll see

How much I've grown
